01.Scope and acceptance
These terms cover the Sama mobile app and public website, including the household planning functions made available through the service.
Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before accepting the published agreement. If you do not agree with the effective terms, do not create an account or use the service.
02.Eligibility and accounts
You must have the authority required to use the service and share the information you add. If you act for another person, you must have the necessary permission. Where permission from a parent or guardian is required, that permission must be obtained before using an account.
Keep account information accurate and protect your sign-in credentials and device. Do not share your authentication session with another person or use someone else’s account without permission.
03.Households and member roles
Household is Sama’s shared planning boundary. Each account can hold one active Household membership at a time. Leaving an existing Household permits creating or joining another, subject to the app’s rules.
Admins manage authorised membership functions and Managed Members. Managed Members cannot authenticate or make changes. Access comes from assigned roles; a household role does not confer access to Sama’s internal support or administrative systems.
04.Invitations and shared content
Use Invite Links and Join Codes only to invite people you intend to include. Do not publish private invitations or attempt to bypass membership controls.
Before adding information about another person, make sure you have permission to share it. Household members can see information according to their access. You are responsible for checking what you choose to share.
05.What the service does
Sama helps organise bills, cleaning, maintenance, household events, meals and shopping. The Dashboard shows relevant arrangements. Features and platform availability are described in the app and on the website.
Sama does not pay bills, carry out household tasks, order groceries or make restaurant bookings. Meal plans and shopping lists are separate. Check amounts, dates and arrangements and complete real-world actions yourself.
06.Your content
You retain any rights you have in the content you add. You permit Sama to store, process and display your content to the extent needed to provide the service and the sharing features you choose.
Do not add content that is unlawful, abusive, infringes another person’s rights or contains information you are not authorised to share. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Sama.
07.Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another Household, impersonate a member, harvest personal information, compromise accounts, disrupt the service or bypass security restrictions. Do not introduce malicious software or use automated activity to abuse the service.
Report suspected unauthorised access through a confirmed support channel. A security concern does not authorise accessing someone else’s information.
08.Availability, reminders and changes
Network connections, device settings, operating-system restrictions and maintenance can affect synchronisation and notification delivery. An arrangement may change while another device is offline.
Sama is a planning aid and should not be the sole safeguard for an urgent payment or safety-critical task. The operator may need to update features or supported platforms; material changes should be communicated as appropriate.
09.Charges and future services
No subscription purchase or paid service is offered in the current Sama product scope. These terms do not authorise a charge.
If paid services are introduced, their prices, billing terms, cancellation arrangements and applicable store rules must be disclosed before purchase. A description of a future feature does not guarantee delivery.
10.Intellectual property
The app, website, Sama branding and materials supplied by the operator may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of those materials.
Store logos and third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rules. Do not represent yourself as Sama or distribute modified versions in a way that misleads users.
11.Account closure and access restrictions
You may use the supported app process to request account deletion or leave a Household. The effect on shared content is governed by the applicable product rules and the Privacy Policy.
Access may be restricted where necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use or a material breach of these terms. Any action should be proportionate to the issue and applicable obligations. Closure does not necessarily remove lawful retention obligations or independent copies made by other members.
12.Third-party services
Downloading Sama, signing in through a provider or following an external link may involve separate third-party terms. Sama does not control an independent provider’s website or store service.
The public website does not provide a web version of the household app. Contact messages remain unsent until a contact-delivery service is configured.
13.Warranty and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the proposed service is supplied subject to availability and without a guarantee that every reminder, connection or feature will always operate without interruption. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or prevents you from exercising rights that applicable law protects.
14.Disputes and governing law
A confirmed contact channel should be used first to raise a concern about the service. A concern should explain the relevant account or feature and the resolution you are seeking. The governing-law designation remains subject to confirmation before these terms become effective.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. Mandatory consumer rights are not removed by a dispute-resolution clause.
15.Changes and contact
Final terms should include a version, effective date and the process for notifying material changes. Additional acceptance should be obtained when required by applicable law.
Operator details, an address for notices and a working contact channel must be inserted before publication. The current website form does not deliver messages or legal notices.
